Several bomb threats were made against health authorities across Germany overnight, police said Saturday, although searches have so far not turned up any suspicious items. The offices of the local health authority in Olpe in the western state of North Rhine-Westphalia had to be temporarily evacuated late Friday after receiving such a threat. The World Bank Board of Directors yesterday approved $114.28 million financing to help Nigeria prevent, detect and respond to the threat posed by the COVID-19 pandemic with specific focus on state level responses. On the same day, 443 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded nationwide, taking the number of confirmed cases to 45,687 with 32,637 discharged and 936 deaths recorded.
