Eleven people have been killed and four others injured in an attack by suspected herdsmen on Rim village in Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau State. The incident occurred on Tuesday evening, when villagers were said to have been returning from Makera market. The Plateau State Police Public Relations Officer, Matthew Tyopev, confirmed the casualty figures to Newsmen.   The Riyom attack is coming about three weeks after herdsmen killed at least 29 people, mostly women, and children at Nkiye Dongwro in Miango of Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State. Information from the Legislative Chamber says the police boss is currently being questioned in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory. Troops of 28 Task Force Brigade of Operation Lafiya Dole have repelled Boko Haram Terrorists (BHT) attack in Gulak, Madagali Local Government Area of Adamawa  State. The troops fought gallantly to repel the terrorists who attempted to infiltrate Gulak town. The Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun, has expressed confidence that the Federal Government’s revenue and debt management strategy would mitigate the country’s debt service risk and fast-track her development.
