Catholic bishop of Sokoto diocese, Matthew Kukah says it is only the use of bomb that differentiates the federal government from Boko Haram insurgents.

According to Journalist, Kukah said this while speaking with Catholic Charity Aid to the Church in Need, in the UK.

He was said to have spoken on the killing of 10 Christians by the Islamic State West Africa Province on Christmas eve.

The bishop reportedly accused the government of using different methods to achieve the same goal of “Islamic dominance like Boko Haram.”

He added that the federal government had failed to tackle Boko Haram insurgency and has instead created room for the group to operate as it is doing currently.

Kukah said if those in authority do not do enough to integrate Christians, “then they give oxygen to Islamism.”

The federal government should answer the following questions to prove to the world that they are truely fighting against Boko Haram insurgents in Nigeria: Who are true sponsors of Book Haram? Who supplies them food, arms, armunitions, vehicles, clothings, fuel, technological and information gadgets? What is their means of transportation? How do these materials get to them? Is it through Land, air or sea. At what time do they move these materials into Sambisa forest? Is it in the day or night or in the spirit and nobody sees them? Can government truely claim ignorance of all these to have allowed Book Haram exist for years in Nigeria wrecking havoc, maiming and killing innocent citizens on a daily bases without showing any reasonable concern? Does this government really has the citizens at heart? Is this government truely the government of the people by the people and for the people or the government of the government by the government and for the government? Where is Leah Shribu? Why is it that others are rescued and she is no where to be found? Why is it that there is so much poverty and unemployment, infrastructural decay
