The Bishop of the Diocese of Esan, the Rt Revd. Gabriel Oseikhuenmen Elabor, charged Christians to evangelize all aspects of the society.
He gave this charge while speaking this morning at the Synod of the Diocese of Okrika held at St Luke’s Anglican Church, Abam-Ama, Okrika.
Delivering his homily on the topic, ‘Incomplete conquest: a teaching metaphor for our Christian life,’ Bishop Elabor stated that conquering the land begins with letting Christ conquer us.
He went on to state that complete obedience is required for complete victory.
Bishop Elabor said that Christians can possess all 7 pillars of society by entering into governance, utilizing electronic media, and investing in the youth through mission schools. He concluded by saying that Christians are saved to save others.
