To: All Archbishops and Bishops
Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion)

Your Graces/My Lords,
A CALL FOR PRAYER: DIVINE INTERVENTION IN THE STATE OF THE NATION.
Grace and peace of the LORD be multiplied unto you and yours always.
There is no doubt that the rate at which kidnapping, herdsmen attack, militancy and lack of value for human life is on the increase in our Nation Nigeria. As Christians we cannot afford to fold our arms and expect miracle to happen.

The Primate of the Church of Nigeria, The Most Rev’d Henry C. Ndukuba has directed that Fasting and Prayer be observed throughout our Dioceses and Churches in the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) tomorrow, Tuesday, October 12, 2021.

“Because of your unbelief; fo r assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a
mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will
move; and nothing will be impossible fo r you. However, this kind does not go out
except by prayer and fasting. ” (Matt. 17:20-21).

Please:
1. Pray for the release of the wife of the Bishop of Ikeduru Diocese in Imo State, Mrs. Maduwike who was kidnapped the second time last Friday at Ehime Mbano.
2. Pray for the release of all our members who have been abducted and are still in the camps of the kidnappers.
3. Pray against the infiltration of the wicked in the Nation.
4. Pray for God’s intervention in all spheres of our endeavours.

Thank you for your usual cooperation as we continue to uphold the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) and our Nation Nigeria in our prayers.

The LORD be with you,

Signed.
The Ven. Gershinen Paul Dajur PhD
General Secretary, Church of Nigeria
