Ven. Dr. Olufemi Ebenezer Familoni was born on 22nd January 1966 to the family of Pa Gabriel Ibitoye Familoni of Ido-Ekiti, Ekiti State.

Ven. Dr. Olufemi Ebenezer Familoni is a distinguished cleric, administrator, and transformational leader whose illustrious career has been defined by excellence, innovation, and unwavering commitment to service. 

He holds a Master of Business Administration in Human Resources Management, a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science, and a Bachelor of Theology, among others. 

An astute manager of people and resources, Ven. Dr. Familoni has consistently demonstrated exceptional capacity for institutional development and organizational transformation. 

He was an Altar Server (Acolyte) for over 25 years before he was ordained as a Priest. 

Dr. Familoni’s ministerial journey is richly adorned with outstanding accomplishments across parishes where he has served with uncommon zeal.

As Pioneer Vicar of St. James’ Anglican Church, Peace Estate, Amuwo Odofin, he transformed a small congregation of less than five into a flourishing parish, acquiring prime land, building a fully furnished air-conditioned church, vicarage, and Vehicle for the parish, establishing multimedia and e-payment systems among others. He donated two bedrooms flat to the church to accommodate the assisting Priest. 

At St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Era, Ijanikin, he laid the foundation for growth by acquiring plots of land, building a permanent worship center, and donating his personal residence to house the parish priests for over seven years. Many were led to Christ through aggressive evangelism and humanitarian work.

As Vicar at All Saints Anglican Church, Festac, he successfully managed and paid a ₦350 million loan portfolio which he inherited, spearheaded asset acquisition, computerized accounting processes, and advanced youth and widow empowerment initiatives.

As Vicar, Archdeacon, and Administrator of Christ Church Anglican, Mile 2 Estate Amuwo Odofin, he expanded and modernized the old church building, acquired a 200KVA transformer and donated three bedrooms Flat to the church for investment purpose, and supported the education of indigent parishioners through scholarships.

As Vicar and Administrator, Anglican Church of Ascension, Opebi, Ikeja, through his dynamic leadership style, he secured two plots of land while driving spiritual renewal and raised the investment portfolio of the church to an enviable height. Through his pragmatic teaching, and evangelism, many were won to the side of the Lord.

He has overseen major renovations as Vicar and Archdeacon of Christ Anglican Church, Bariga including installation of solar panel streetlights in the church compound, livestreaming of services, empowerment of women in small scale business and strategic property development for long-term parish investments.

His leadership footprints include the establishment of ultramodern worship edifices, acquisition of strategic assets, implementation of computerized accounting systems, and innovative empowerment programs for youths, widows, and indigent scholars.

Across his decades of service in the Anglican Communion, he has pioneered parishes, expanded infrastructures, and spearheaded multi-million-naira investments that not only advanced the Church’s spiritual mandate but also enhanced its financial sustainability.

Beyond his pastoral duties, Ven. Dr. Familoni is a Fellow of multiple professional bodies, including the Nigerian Institute of Management (FNIM), the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (FCIPM), and the Chartered Institute of Administration (FCIA), Fellow of Lagos Anglican Seminary (FLAS). His recognition as a thoughtful leader and resourceful administrator reflects his ability to blend theological depth with managerial dexterity, qualities that continue to inspire growth, capacity building, and institutional excellence.

A philanthropist and humanitarian at heart, he has donated properties, the most recent is the donation of ultra-modern Church building in memory and honor of his late father and mother, funded scholarships, sponsored trips of Priest to the Cliff College, Manchester and supported widows and orphans, thereby creating lasting social impact within and beyond the Church. 

His legacy of transformational leadership, strategic vision, and human capital development stands as an enduring example of purposeful stewardship.

Ven. Dr. Familoni is happily married to Olori Dr. Modupe Familoni, FNIM. FCIA with 2 Children.
