In this decade, the Church of Nigeria, by the grace of God, will move forward on all fronts. We are focusing on all ministries and segments of our Church, the Men, Education, Finance, Welfare and the Political sphere, the Women and Men ministry, the Children and Youth Ministry.
Every Anglican member is important stakeholder in this move of God. We, therefore, call on everyone to join hands with us in bringing the reign of God to bear on all aspects of our Church life beginning from our homes. Whatever decadence we see in the society has its root in a home. Our discipleship and spiritual nurture must begin at home. The case of abandoning our parental duty of providing spiritual nurture for our children to Sunday school teachers and school teachers is not the best. Christian education and discipleship must be taken seriously at home.
We must re-evangelize and engage in Intentional Discipleship in order to deepen the faith and maturity of members in Christlikeness. We must take our Catechism classes and preparation of our confirmation candidates serious as a Discipleship platform. Evangelism, Missions and Discipleship are core to the life and ministry of the Church. We shall seek to equip the saints through Discipleship for the work of Ministry in the Church of God.
