The Church of Nigeria Mission in North America (CONNAM) is set to open its Theological Education Centre for its ordinands and clergymen. This was made known by the coordinating bishop of CONNAM, The Rt Rev’d Dr Felix Orji, OSB in a copy of statement signed by him and made available to ACNN TV.
He noted in the letter “Having consulted and received the blessing of our Primate, the Most Rev’d Henry Ndukuba, it is my pleasure to announce the formation of The Center For CONNAM Theological Education effective August 8, 2021. This Center will provide basic and continuing theological education, spiritual formation, and missiological studies for CONNAM ordinands and clergy. It is our hope that this initiative will lead to the formation of CONNAM Theological Seminary in due course, Deo volente.”

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
The issue of theological education, spiritual formation, Christian character, and training for evangelistic mission in
our conflicted, multicultural and ethically-compromised global world is a matter of extraordinary importance in
Christian ministry especially for our Church of Nigeria North American Mission(CONNAM).
Some of us were privileged to attend Seminary and acquired theological education in North America and/or Nigeria under favorable circumstances which are not so much easily available anymore. Therefore, we want to create a mechanism to enhance our effectiveness in our mission in North America.
Having consulted and received the blessing of our Primate, the Most Rev’d Henry Ndukuba, it is my pleasure to
announce the formation of The Center For CONNAM Theological Education effective August 8, 2021. This *Center*
will provide basic and continuing theological education, spiritual formation, and missiological studies for CONNAM
ordinands and clergy. It is our hope that this initiative will lead to the formation of CONNAM Theological Seminary in due course, Deo volente.
For effective delivery of this program I have appointed the Rev’d Canon Dr Godspower Ugboh as the Rector of The
Center For CONNAM Theological Education. Dr Ugboh has a doctoral degree in Transformational Leadership as well as expertise and experience in the delivery of Theological Education and Missiological Studies. He will provide leadership and assemble a team of lecturers from our CONNAM Dioceses and elsewhere to ensure this program is accessible, efficient and effective.
