Diocese of Uyo Breaks Ground on New Administrative Block

Uyo, Akwa Ibom State – As part of the ongoing Synod activities, the Diocese of Uyo has taken a significant step towards infrastructural development with the foundation laying ceremony of its Administrative Block.

The ceremony, which took place on Sunday 1st December, 2024 was performed by the Dean of the Church of Nigeria, the Archbishop of Niger Delta Province, and Bishop of Ikwere Diocese, The Most Rev’d Dr Blessing Eyindah , Jp

The event was witnessed by the Archbishop of Enugu Province and Bishop of Enugu North Diocese, Most Rev’d Engr Dr. Sosthenes I. Eze, as well as other clergymen and dignitaries.

In his remarks, the Host Bishop, Rt Rev’d Owen Amos Ukafia, JP, shared his vision for the Diocese and appealed to the guests to continue to pray for the Diocese for the successful completion of the project.

The Administrative Block is expected to serve as a hub for the Diocese’s administrative activities and provide a conducive environment for the clergy and staff to carry out their duties.

The foundation laying ceremony marks a significant milestone in the Diocese’s history and is a testament to the commitment of the Bishop and the entire Diocese to infrastructural development and growth.
