The Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) has formally commenced the second edition of its 2025 Standing Committee Meeting, hosted by the Diocese of Ekiti.

At the entrance of the grounds, the women of the Diocese, elegantly robed in radiant purple attire, welcomed delegates with melodious traditional songs. From the early hours of the day, the registration grounds at the Cathedral Hall in Ado-Ekiti were a beehive of activity as delegates from across the 14 ecclesiastical provinces of the Church of Nigeria arrived in steady numbers.
