Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion has called for Intentional prayers for the Church and the Nation.
The Venerable Gershinen Paul Dajur, General Secretary, Church of Nigeria, made this announcement in a memo made available to ACNNTV today stating that, as a follow up to the theme of the just concluded Standing Committee Meeting
“Watch and Pray: Godly Disposition When Kingdoms Rage” (Matthew 26:40-41)
the Primate of All Nigeria, His Grace, the Most Rev’d Dr Henry C. Ndukuba has
directed that the Church of Nigeria and other faithful to observe a special session of prayers starting
from Ash Wednesday to Friday [February 22-24, 2023].
Prayer Focus:
1. Church and its leadership,
2. the forthcoming Joshua Generation
International Youth Conference (JGIYC),
3. the Nation and
challenges;
4. the forthcoming Elections;
5. Church membership.

Christ to earnestly pray and call upon God for His divine intervention in our lives, the
Church and the Nation.
