Bishop Nwokolo Steps In: Prayers and Full Medical Support for Building Collapse Victims

In a compassionate gesture, Rt. Rev. Dr. Owen Chiedozie Nwokolo, the Bishop on the Niger, has visited the site of the collapsed centenary building at Dennis Memorial Grammar School (DMGS) in Onitsha, Anambra State.

Shortly after returning from a trip outside the state, Nwokolo visited the site, conducted a thorough inspection, and engaged in inquisitive interactions to gather firsthand information on the unfortunate incident.

Rt. Rev. Owen also visited the University on the Niger Teaching Hospital in Iyi Enu, where the survivors were recuperating.

He interacted with them and offered prayers, confirming that the Diocese has provided funds for their medical bills and daily upkeep.

In response, the victims, visibly stable and of sound mind, expressed gratitude to the Bishop for his visit and prayers. They commended the hospital personnel for the high level of professional medical care.
