The International Monetary Fund (IMF) in its World Economic Outlook (WEO) update relead on Tuesday has projected that the Nigerian economy will grow by 1.5% this year, slightly lower than the 1.7% it had predicted for the country in its previous forecast. Ghana’s former President and the country’s longest-serving leader, Jerry John Rawlings will be buried on Wednesday. His body has been lying in state since Monday and hundreds of people have taken the opportunity to pay their last respects. Mali’s military junta which ousted former President Ibrahim Boubacar Keïta five months ago has been officially dissolved, according to a government decree. The decree was signed by the transitional President Bah Ndaw and Prime Minister Moctar Ouane.
