The Founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, has said no government can provide lasting peace, urging Christians to look to God as the only true source of peace.
Oyedepo stated this while speaking at the dedication of Dreamland, Master’s City, the new worship centre of Master’s Place International Church in Warri, Delta State.
His message was contained in a statement issued on Tuesday by the church’s media unit.
Preaching on the topic, “Why Do We Dedicate Places of Worship?”, the cleric explained that church buildings are dedicated because they belong to God, who is the owner and builder of His Church.
“God is the owner and builder of His Church. Behind every sanctuary is God, so we are dedicating it to the Owner, because God builds all things. The glory of God will fill His house, and this sanctuary shall be His habitation and house of salvation,” he said.
Oyedepo also encouraged worshippers not to depend on governments or worldly systems for peace.
“No government in this world can give you peace, neither can you find it in the market. It is only God that can give you peace,” he said.
The event also featured the reordination of the Senior Pastor of Master’s Place International Church, Pastor Korede Komaiya, and his wife, Pastor Esther Komaiya, in what was described as a special impartation and consecration for the next phase of their ministry.
Congratulating the couple and members of the church on the completion of the worship centre, Oyedepo prayed for greater accomplishments and renewed grace.
“Congratulations. The best is yet to come. Receive fresh grace today to remain faithful and consistent with God,” he declared, adding, “To this church family, congratulations.”
During the reordination service, the Living Faith founder laid hands on the couple and offered prophetic prayers and blessings over their lives and ministry.
The dedication ceremony formed part of the International Founders Conference 2026 and attracted thousands of worshippers as well as prominent Christian leaders from within and outside Nigeria.
Among those present were Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, Pastor Poju Oyemade, Pastor Bolaji Idowu, Rev. Tony Akinyemi, Rev. Samuel Olubiyo and Pastor Yemi Davids.
Speaking at the event, Pastor Korede Komaiya expressed gratitude to God for the successful completion of the project and appreciated the support of senior ministers.
“We are grateful to God for the gift of men and for the lives that continue to impact generations through their ministries. To God alone be all the glory,” he said.
