The Archbishop Metropolitan and Primate of all Nigeria Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion Most Revd Henry Ndukuba has lifted up his hands to God in prayers for a peaceful governorship election in Anambra State.

The election slated for 6 November 2021 has all the trappings of violence and disorderliness.

The Primate who was in the state to worship at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church Parish Igboezunu- Aguleri for a burial ceremony prayed for all Anglican faithful who are seeking various elective positions for a safe and successful landing.

Most especially Primate Ndukuba prayed for Governorship candidates  Andy Ubah of the All Progressives Congress (APC) a staunch member of Anglican Communion and  Professor Chukwuma Soludo the All Progressives Grand Alliance ( APGA) a Catholic and other governorship candidate in the state that God should answer their heart desires.

He prayed that Heaven should look upon his servants, Ubah and  Soludo, who had distinguished themselves in this nation as good stewards.

He said God had distinguished them excellently well in their past vocations and as they were looking for higher office ” May Heavenly Father, let the spirit of excellence continue to rest mightily upon them.”.

“Lord, grant them their heart desires . Holy God build your hedge around them in this time of electioneering campaign, give them favour before thee”.

“Heavenly Father I pray that that purpose you have for them shall come to pass in Jesus name.”
