Amid ongoing changes, Netflix has raised its subscription fees in Nigeria once again, just a few months after a previous increase in April 2024.

The new adjustments impact all subscription packages, with significant percentage increases across the board. Nigerians will now pay N7,000 per month for Netflix’s Premium Plan, reflecting a 40% rise from its former rate of N5,000 per month. The Standard Plan subscription has increased from N4,000 to N5,500, representing a 37.5% hike. This plan is favored by Nigerian subscribers for its HD quality and multi-screen viewing options.

Furthermore, the Basic Plan has risen from N2,900 to N3,500, a 21% increase, while the Mobile Plan has surged by 83%, from N1,200 to N2,200.

This latest increase marks the second price adjustment by Netflix within a span of three months in Nigeria, following the earlier rise in April.

Previously, Netflix mentioned that such price adjustments were part of a broader strategy to update subscription fees across different regions.

The company has indicated that these changes are designed to boost revenue and earnings growth, aligning with a pattern of periodic price hikes to support the expansion of its content offerings.
