 NECO Registrar’s Son Says His Dad Died After A Brief Illness

Professor Godswill Obioma, the Registrar and Chief Executive of the National Examination Council (NECO), is dead.

A source from the family confirmed that Obioma died on Monday night after a brief illness. This was also confirmed by the Director Human Resource Management of NECO, Mr Mustapha Abdul.

The son of the deceased, Prince Godswill Obioma, in a text message to the Director of Human Resources on behalf of the family, said: “Dear Sir, this is to formally inform you that my father Prof. Godswill Obioma the Registrar/Chief Executive of NECO passed to eternal glory yesterday 31/5/2021 after a brief illness.

“We request that you kindly notify the Board, Management and the entire staff of the Council of this development.

“We shall keep you duly informed.”
