Ministers of God have been urged to brace up to feed their flocks with the rightful words of God

as well as drive away wolves that might want to scatter the congregations.

Bishop of Igbomina Anglican Diocese, The Right Reverend Emmanuel Adeoye Adekola

gave the advice at the Trinity Ordination held at Christ Anglican Church, Ijomu-Oro in

Irepodun Local Government of Kwara State, Nigeria, where Reverend Emmanuel Faloyin

was priested and Rev'd Bernard Jiryila Yanongu was ordered a Deacon.

Bishop Adekola said as soldiers of God, their callings entail diligence, competency,

discipline, and foresighness. He emphasized that as priests in the vineyard, they must be ready

to lay their lives for the propagation of the Kingdom of God.

On the issue of insecurity in the country, the Bishop of Igbomina Anglican Diocese advised

the government at various levels to do the needful by protecting the lives and property of Nigerians.

Venerable Joshua Odusolu who preached at the Ordination Service urged the newly ordained

priests not to allow pride, impatience, over and overambitious pitch them against God and

humanity. Odusolu also advised the congregation not to allow Satan to use them for the downfall

of their priests, noting that God would judge any priest and church member who makes

members backslide.

In their response, Reverend Emmanuel Faloyin and Rev'd Bernard Jiryila Yanongu pledged

their allegiance to put in their best to preach the gospel as well as make more disciples for

Jesus Christ.

The highlight of the ordination included the swearing-in of Dr. Ruth Biola Adimula as Registrar

of Igbomina Anglican Diocese and Mr. Shina Michael as Deputy Registrar
