Boko Haram terrorists have once again unleashed havoc, attacking Bamzir village in Whuntaku District, Chibok Local Government Area of Borno State.
The attack, which took place around 2:10 am on Sunday, left two brothers, Josiah Pogu Pudza, an SS 2 student, and Enoch Pogu Pudza, dead. Another resident, Esther Yohanna, suffered a gunshot wound during the assault. The terrorists looted food supplies, livestock, and razed a church auditorium, along with several houses and shops.
Chibok LGA Chairman, Mustapha Madu, visited the village to assess the damage and sympathize with the affected families.
This incident coincided with another deadly attack by suspected Lakurawa terrorists in Kebbi State, reflecting the ongoing insecurity plaguing the region.
