The Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion is raising the bar of participation for men in the body of the Church.
From Ibadan capital of Oyo State in Nigeria, the first-ever convocation of the National Christian Fellowship taking place at the Cathedral Church of St James the Great, Oke- Bola Ibadan from 29 to 1 October 2021.
In his inaugural speech the Archbishop Metropolitan and Primate of all Nigeria Most Revd Henry Ndukuba speaking to the theme of the convention- “Men As Agents Of God’s Reign ” said the church was not looking for nominal discipleship but Intentional discipleship that would propel the decade of the reign of God beyond its dream.

Primate Ndukuba stressed that the convention ” is strategic and a culmination of a long process of consultations and engagements with the different Men’s groups in the Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion.
He said Christian Men’s Fellowship ” shall be the umbrella organisation for all men’s group and ministries”.
He stressed that a ” formidable and United men’s is essential in fulfilling the mission and ministry mandate of the Church.” Stressing ” Every man has a place in this Decade of the Reign of God”.
Primate Ndukuba gave thanks to God and appreciated ” all our men for their amazing labour in God’s vineyard reminding them “we need to adequately invest in wholistic development of our men; Spiritually, Intellectually and Physically. There is an urgent need to provide coordination, focus, and platform for building strong Fellowship among our men”.
More importantly, the Primate stressed that: ” Our men must be effectively mobilized, intentionally disciples and deployed as God’s Kingdom Agents in every sphere of the society and mission of the Church.”
