A private vehicle plunged off the Otedola Bridge along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in the early hours of Monday, leaving four passengers injured and sparking panic among onlookers.
As of press time, it remained unclear whether any fatalities had occurred. All four occupants sustained injuries, and efforts to rescue them were being made by bystanders and first responders, as emergency personnel had yet to arrive.
This latest incident occurred just days after a deadly crash at the same location, where a gas-laden truck exploded, killing at least six people.
Monday’s crash caused confusion and heavy traffic in the area, as approaching motorists slowed down near the scene.
