The 36 state governors of Nigeria, the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), will be holding their 30th teleconference meeting on the 19th of May 2021 to come to a consensual grounds on the controversial Executive Order 10 signed into law by the country’s President Muhammadu Buhari.
A statement issued by NGF’s Head, Media and Public Affairs, Abdulrazaque Bello-Barkindo, the governors are to be in Abuja today to tackle the matters arising from a series of challenges such as the trending conversation over the third wave of COVID-19, Accountability (SFTAS) report, Fiscal Transparency, the contentious Executive Order 10, an update of the States among other things..
The Governors’ PTF Committee on COVID-19 which is lead by Delta State governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, will inform the forum on health matters arising from the coming of the third wave of the virus.
