Turkish Super Lig outfit, Fatih Karagumruk has terminated the contract of Nigeria captain, Ahmed Musa

This is a year before his contract was to end.

The club announced the termination of the contract on its various social media platforms.

Speculations were rife about his future of the club in the close season after he failed to report in time for pre-season training.

However, sources close to the player said he will drag the Istanbul club before FIFA.

Ahmed Musa, 29, joined Fatih Karagunruk in July 2021 as a free agent and his contract was till June 2023.

He has struggled to impress at the modest club.

This season, he made three appearances and has yet to score a goal.

Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr also released the forward before the end of his contract and that forced him to rejoin his former club Kano Pillars before he eventually headed to Turkey.
