 Introduction
False teaching is an arrogantly attempt to fashion new interpretations of the scriptures to demonstrate that these sacred texts should not be read as God’s words to His children but merely as the utterances of uninspired men, limited by their own prejudices and cultural biases. Peter exposed us to the lifestyle and doctrines of false teachers in our text today. This study is a focus on this and how it hinders manifestation as PILGRIMS TO HEAVENLY KINGDOM.

Analyse some of the attitudes of false teachers and their doctrines. ICor 15:12; 1Tim 6:3-6; Jude 1:4.
How can false Teachings hinder the manifesting of Christians as Pilgrims to heavenly kingdom?
How can a Christian effectively resist or guide against false teachings? 1Tim 1:4, 1Tim 1:7; 2Tim 2:23; Tit 3:9
 Conclusion
Some of the prevalent false teachings in our generation are worshipping pastors and other personalities apart from the Triune God; that Jesus Christ is not God; Christ’s blood does not atone; baptism by any means other than by water and the spirit; teaching how to speak in tongues; Spirit baptism. Christians must be careful of all these
 Food for Thought
Only spiritual babies eat anything anyhow. Therefore, Grow in Bible knowledge!
 Memory Verse
2 Pet. 2:1 – “But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
