Abuja Nigeria, April 5, 2025 – Kenya Prisons recovered from their 3-0 loss to Zamalek to beat Spiking Stars 3-0 (25-9, 25-15, 25-16) to register their first win in Pool B
PRI got off to a cracking start. It was aggressive play with both teams going for block outs. PRI had the better side as they continued to block out SSV. They won the 1st set 25-9.
PRI maintained their momentum in the 2nd set. They continue to find a gap between the blocks. SSP looked flat. Miscommunication lost them another point and PRI took advantage to nail the set 25-15.
PRI aware of the importance of winning game number two, settled for no error as they killed the game 25-16.
