The Diocese is under the leadership of the Rt Rev’d Dr Felix Orji who is the coordinating Bishop of CONNAM.
In a press statement signed by Bishop Orji states:
“Holy Trinity Cathedral Church Dedication
Houston, TX: Saturday June 26, 2021, has been set aside for the dedication of Holy Trinity Cathedral Anglican Church new worship facility that sits on a 10.2-acre tract of land. The dedication ceremony will start at 11:00 AM and run through the most hours of the day. The dedication will be administered by The Primate of the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion – The Most Rev’d Henry Ndukuba who presides over the largest and fastest growing Anglican Church province in the world with over 20 million members. The Primate will be visiting for this special event joined by his wife Mama Nigeria Mrs. Angela Ndukuba, and several Select leaders and officers of the Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion.
“Holy Trinity Cathedral Anglican Church is Christian community of over 500 member parishioners with ethnicity spanning indigenes from Africa, notably Nigerian, Sierra Leon, Haiti, as well as Americans of all race and background.
“Holy Trinity Cathedral Anglican Church is the diocesan headquarter of Diocese of the West under the leadership of the Rt. Rev’d Dr. Felix Orji – the Coordinating Bishop of the Church of Nigeria North American Mission (CONNAM) and the Dean of the Cathedral is Venerable Chukwuma Ubadinobi who oversees the day-to-day affairs of the Cathedral.
“The Church of Nigeria North American Mission (CONNAM) serves to reach people (Nigerians and others) with the gospel of Christ so that they will be saved from the eternal wrath of God and become faithful disciples of Christ who worship God in Spirit and truth in the Anglican way as they live in obedience to God’s written Word.
The Church of Nigeria North American Mission (CONNAM) is currently made up of the Anglican Diocese of the West (ADOTW) led by Bishop Felix Orji, the Jurisdiction of the Armed Forces and Chaplaincy led by Bishop Derek Jones, and the Anglican Diocese of the Trinity (ADOTT) currently led by Bishop Felix Orji as Supervisory Bishop.
