The Bishop of the Diocese of Kabba, Anglican Communion, The Rt. Rev’d Steven Akobe has been appointed as the deputy coordinator of the Divine Commonwealth Conference (DIVCCON) by the Primate of the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, The Most Rev’d Dr. Henry C. Ndukuba with immediate effect.

This was made known today in a press statement by the Church of Nigeria Communication Officer, Korede Akintunde.

In this role, Bishop Akobe is to work and assist the DIVCCON Coordinator, The Most Rev’d Tunde Adeleye (Rtd).

The Statement Reads;

The Primate of the Church of Nigeria, The Most Rev’d Dr. Henry C. Ndukuba has appointed the Rt. Rev’d Steven Akobe, the Bishop of Kabba Diocese as the Deputy Coordinator of DIVCCON (Divine Commonwealth Conference). This appointment is with immediate effect.
The Primate, in the appointment letter to Bishop Akobe, noted that his outstanding service and dedication to the mission of the Church of God, his wealth of experience and commitment to excellence make him a perfect fit for this important role in the Church.

In this role, he will be working with the Coordinator of DIVCCON, The Most Rev’d Tunde Adeleye (Rtd.) in the organization of DIVCCON 2024.

The Primate expressed his confidence that the passion, dedication, continued contributions to the mission and ministry of the Church of Nigeria and wealth of experience will greatly contribute to the success of DIVCCON 2024.
