As part of efforts to totally wipe out Coronavirus pandemic, a call has gone to governors of the 36 states of the federation to open worship centres for special prayers to be offered.
In a message to mark, the Trinity Sunday, Bishop of Ekiti West diocese, Anglican communion, Rt Rev. Dr. Rufus Ajileye Adepoju lauded state governors for setting up committees towards the re-opening of worship centres.
He however, stressed the need for the worship centres to be opened without delay so that prayers can be offered to tackle the pandemic, adding that churches should not be the scapegoat since the virus did not begin from the Church
While urging Christians to be more dedicated to God, he pointed out that the cure for the Pandemic can only be found with God the father, Son and the Holy Spirit.
