In the spate of the coronavirus pandemic and with the rising fears of a probable lockdown in certain cities in Nigeria, the New Primate of the Anglican Church in Nigeria, the Most Rev’d Henry C. Ndukuba has charged Christians to remember that God remains God.
The Primate encouraged Christians to look up to God in these times and trust Him because He is the believer’s refuge and strength.
He urged believers not to panic, for the Lord is with them and charged them also to be still and know that God is God.
Primate Ndukuba said, “In the midst of this, the Lord our God is our refuge and strength. Don’t panic, for the Lord our God is with us.”
The Most Rev’d Henry Ndukuba called on the clergy to rise up to the occasion, hold onto God and seek His face for direction. He said in times like this, Christians are waiting and listening for a word from God. He, therefore, urged ministers of the gospel to wait on God for guidance, so that they could guide the flock of Christ through the current challenges.

Thank you my Lord for your fatherly words of advice, Sir I wish that you use your office to instruct all our clergies to look toward how to assist the less privileged with food items in our church. I believe we all need physical intervention now, it will be so embarrassing seeing other churches especially the so call Pentecostal churches using this means to lure our members to their church. Sir we need practical Christianity now like the days of Moses and Aron in the Bible,.
