The Bishop and Diocesan of Lagos West, Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion The Rt. Rev’d JJames O. Odedeji on behalf of the Diocese has made a donation of materials worth more than N5 million and undisclosed sum of money in support of the fight against Coronavirus pandemic in Lagos state.
The items were delivered by the Dean of the Cathedral Ven Goke Agara to the Ministry of Health on behalf of the diocesan Bishop James Odedeji while the monetary donation was paid into the state’s dedicated account.
In response, the representative of Lagos State Government expressed appreciation to the Bishop and members of the Church for the gifts adding that the items arrived at the right time and will help Lagos state in its fight against the COVID-19 pandemic which has taken over the state with the highest number of confirmed cases in Nigeria.
