Afolabi who gleefully received ACU’s Management delegate led by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Timothy Abiodun Adebayo in his Lagos office said any contribution to a faith-based university like ACU should be considered as laudable given the vision of the institution.
Barrister Afolabi who expressed delight at his choice as one of the three eminent Nigerians that would be honoured with the award of honoris causas at the ACU’s 15th Convocation ceremonies noted that education without virtues hinged on godliness and morality was useless.
Therefore, “a faith-based University like Ajayi Crowther which is raising godly intellectuals towards changing the country for the better deserves support and encouragement from all those who have the means”
According to the SAHACO Chairman, “when I was celebrating my 60th birthday, I made some contributions to certain institutions to appreciate what God has done in my life.
