The Anglican bishop of the diocese of Eha-mufu, the Rt. Revd. Nkemjika Olinyah, has joined those calling on Nigerians, most especially Christians and Anglican faithful to get their voters card, PVC, in order to participate in voting in 2023.
The bishop who addressed the entire Clergy of the Diocese in a recorded video urged them to encourage members to get their PVC or they won’t be permitted to participate in Church service from 1st August 2022.
“make sure that all our members get their PVC, lead your members to get this. From 1st August 2022, anybody who doesn’t have this, will not only be stopped from taking the Holy Communion but will also be stopped from gaining access into the Church for worship, until s/he gets it.
Please do this, so that every one of us will participate in the forthcoming election, to elect credible leaders that will lead this nation. If we fail to do it, the same bad leaders, we’ve been crying against will come back to rule us, that will not be good for our nation, and the future of our children”.
Bishop Olinya further led the clergymen into taking a vow to ensure that members are encouraged.
