Callum Wilson scored a superb hat-trick – his first Premier League goals since returning from serious injury – to earn 10-man Bournemouth 4-0 victory over Huddersfield Town.
Wilson, who suffered the second ruptured anterior cruciate ligament injury of his career in January, headed the Cherries in front from a corner before doubling the lead five minutes later after beating the offside trap.
BBC reports that Bournemouth were reduced to 10 men shortly before half-time when Simon Francis, who had already been booked, was shown a second yellow card for a foul on Rajiv van La Parra.
Harry Arter made it 3-0 with first goal of the season, a low finish after robbing Scott Malone just outside the penalty area, before Wilson drilled home the fourth after Joshua King’s pass.
