The Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Pankshin, the Rt. Rev. Olumuyiwa Ajayi, has called on Christians to trust in the Lord always and be victorious over all challenges of life.

Speaking during the REVIVAL HOUR on the topic ”I am Persuaded” on the first day of the Divine Commonwealth Conference of Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), the bishop urged the delegates to believe in God, stressing that ”If you do not believe in what God has said, it will be difficult to receive anything from him.”

The Anglican Bishop of Pankshin said:

‘‘We all face problems and challenges of life and then some come to the conclusion that things are not always good but there is a need for us to know that God has given us assurance through Christ that all things work for good for those who trust in Him.

‘‘When we trust God in his words, we can overcome obstacles and be victorious.’’

Bishop Ajayi, therefore, emphasized that there’s nothing God cannot do and cannot give us through his son.

According to the cleric, in spite of the banditry, terrorism, COVID-19, and all devices of the enemies against believers, God has proved Himself faithful.

From the altar of the National Christian Centre, the Bishop proclaimed prophetic declarations to the congregation, including many others who watched the program online via ACNN Satellite TV and livestream on Facebook and Youtube.

”No witch, no wizard can cut your life short. You will fulfill your purpose on earth. Death will not kill you.”

Emphasizing the ability of God to preserve, and give his children victory, the Bishop made an altar call to those who wish to make a new spiritual commitment to Jesus Christ.

The Anglican Bishop of Pankshin concluded his sermon at by encouraging the delegates to rise on their feet, raise their voices and cry to God over issues facing them, their families and the nation.
