Tottenham Hotspurs defeated Liverpool 4-1 at the Wembley on Sunday with Harry Kane getting a brace while Dele Alli and Heung-Min Son scored a goal each. The result leaves Liverpool reeling on the 9th spot on the table while Spurs jump to third on the log, with 20 points, same as Chelsea but the former having a superior goals difference.

Kane scored as early as the 4th minute, and eight minutes later, Son doubled The Lilywhites’ lead. However, Mohammed Salah scored 12 minute later to cut the lead but it was a temporary relief as Alli found the back of the net just at the end of first half to restore the two-goal lead before Kane completed his brace 11 minutes into the second half.
