The Divine Blueprint for Media: From the “Word” to the “Company” – By Akintunde Korede J

When we think of media, broadcasting, and content creation, we often think of modern inventions—satellites, social media algorithms, and digital infrastructure. But Psalm 68:11 reminds us that the concept of a mass communication network was actually designed by God thousands of years ago.

The verse breaks down into two powerful dimensions that perfectly define your media team’s mission:

  1. “The Lord gave the word…” — This is the anchor. We are not a secular PR firm trying to spin a product or manufacture a trend. We are stewards of the ultimate Truth. The message is already perfect, divinely authorized, and filled with life-changing power.
  2. “…Great was the company of those who proclaimed it.” — This is where you and your team comes in. In the original Hebrew, the word for “company” (tsaba) refers to a vast, organized army or a massive host. God never intended for His Word to remain a whisper in a closed room. He designed it to be amplified by a coordinated, passionate collective and creative team.

Every time you edit a video, design a graphic, write articles/stories, mix audio, or schedule a broadcast, you aren’t just managing technical logistics. You are actively serving as that “great company.”

The Great Commission asks us to go into all the world—and in the digital age, “all the world” includes the digital spaces where billions of people spend their lives. Your cameras, keyboards, and code are the modern vessels carrying the ancient, unchanging gospel to corners of the earth that a physical missionary might never step into.

You are the digital bridge builders making the whisper of God loud enough for the world to hear.

Never lose sight of the eternal weight of your daily tasks. When God speaks, He looks for a company ready to broadcast it. Thank you for being that company.
