Chelsea produced a dominant display away at West Brom to maul the host 4-0, with Eden Hazard grabbing a brace.

Alvaro Morata puts the champions ahead on 17 minutes. It comes after some excellent work from Eden Hazard, who runs at the home defence and unleashes a shot from 25 yards out, which Ben Foster does well to get a hand to.

But the goalkeeper can only push the ball straight into Morata’s path and he slides the ball into an unguarded net.

On 23 minutes, Cesc Fabregas passes the ball forward, Alvaro Morata, with his back to goal and 30 yards out, flicks the ball with his heel and it falls perfectly for Eden Hazard, who takes the ball around the onrushing Ben Foster and puts it into the net for Chelsea’s second goal.

Marcos Alonso made it 3-0 for Chelsea on 38 minutes.

The free-kick was on the side of the penalty area and Cesc Fabregas floated it into the back post, where Albion defenders are sleeping and that allows an unmarked Marcos Alonso to volley into the net from close-range.

On 62 minutes, Hazard scored his second goal to make it 4-0 for Chelsea. It starts with a wonderful ball over the top of the West Brom defence from Cesc Fabregas, who is just inside his own half.

The ball finds Hazard, who collects the pass, jinks back inside Ahmed Hegazi and curls a sublime finish into the far corner from the edge of the penalty area.
