NO PERMANENT ENEMIES IN POLITICS

While ‘Hailers’ and ‘Wailers’ are busy sending themselves to the cleaners on social media, the politicians they are taking sides with are hanging out together attending each other’s functions. It is like some people having headaches while other are taking Paracetamol on their behalf.

I read a lot of comments on the supposed ‘fight’ between the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari and the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Winifred Oyo-Ita.

They say the shouting match had to do with accusation and counter-accusation over who leaked Oyo-Ita’s report to the President on the reinstatement of the former chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Pension Reforms, Abdulrasheed Maina.

It must have been embarrassing for those who had taken side with either of them to now see a photo of them hugging it out without explanation on who really leaked what.

Both Oyo-Ita and Kyari hugged while greeting each other just before the arrival of President Muhammadu Buhari and commencement of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the state house, Abuja.
