2025 WOMEN'S AFRICAN CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP DRAWS

The stage is set for a thrilling return of the Women’s African Club Championship to Nigerian soil, nearly three decades in the making. The highly anticipated tournament kick-starts with the drawing of lots that took place Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at the Exclusive Serene Hotel in Abuja. The ceremony was graced by the presence of esteemed guests, including CAVB President and FIVB Vice President, Bouchra Hajij.

Sixteen top-notch teams from across the continent will converge at the Moshood Abiola Sports Stadium in Abuja from April 1st to April 14th to battle it out for the coveted title. This marks the second time Nigeria will host the prestigious event, with the first being in 1996.

The hosts, Customs Service of Nigeria, have been pitted against Mayo Kane Evolution of Cameroon in their opening match, set to take place on Thursday. With the support of their Chief Patron, the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the team is poised to make a strong impression in front of their home fans.
