Resolute Kenya Pipeline comfortably registers victory in their opening match against Rwanda Police in a 3-1 (25-10, 25-19, 21-25, 25-18) in Pool D.

KPC started with a bang and was winning 8-3 before Police started engaging. A few spikes and volleying the ball to gaps at the back of the court won Police points, however, KPC was comfortably in control and won the set 25-10.

Errors from the Police allowed KPC to extend their points and made it difficult for the Police to come back, shutting down the Police with excellent blocks. A run of points brought the Police back into the set, but the KPC lead was too much, and in the end, the Rwandans succumbed 19-25.

In a repeat pattern of the earlier sets, KPC established an early lead of 9-3 and then extended it significantly. Police came back late in the set with several points and took the third set 25-21.

It was all to play in the fourth set. KPC wanted to win, and the Police fought to force the deciding set, it was KPC that ran away with the game with a 25-18
