Unknown gunmen have killed Rev. Emmanuel Ezeokwe who is the Vicar of Anglican Church, Zinai, Cathedral Archdeaconry in the Anglican Diocese of Yola in the early hours of today, 21st April, 2026.
This was announced by the Ven. Andrew Izuakor who is the Admin to the Bishop of Yola Diocese, The Most Rev Markus Ibrahim.
He noted that the gunmen who invaded Zinai community, under Song Local Government Area of Adamawa State, shot at the priest who died in the process.
The statement ask for prayers for the immediate family, Zinai Church, Cathedral Archdeaconry and the Diocese of Yola at this tragic moment.
