Leader of Biafra Independence Movement and founder of Movement for Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra (BIM-MASSOB), Chief Ralph Uwazuruike, says he will play host to dignitaries expected at November 26, 2017 5th remembrance Day of late Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu.
According to him they include, the founder of Odua People’s Congress, OPC, Dr. Fredrick Fasehun; former Chief Security Officer to late General Sanni Abacha, Hamza Al-Mustapha and leader of the Niger Delta Peoples Salvation Force, NDPSF, Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo-Asari.
The BIM leader in a statement signed by his Information Director, Mazi Chris Mocha, and issued to newsmen in Onitsha, Anambra state, said BIM-MASSOB had single-handedly organized Ojukwu’s memorial service annually since 2013 to give respect to the great Igbo leader, the Ikemba Nnewi.
Uwazuruike said the event would feature masquerades and cultural dance groups from Igbo land and Military parade by Biafra war veteran soldiers.
Those expected to also attend the memorial event on Sunday 26 November 2017 are, widow of the late Biafra Icon, Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu, Eze Nri Ancient Kingdom, HRM Eze Obidiegwu Onyesoh, Catholic Bishop of Okigwe Diocese, Bishop Amatu, the former President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief John Nnia Nwodo and Sanni Abacha’s first son, Mohammed.
