It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear Father in God: The Venerable Moses Balogun who joined the Saints Triumphant in the early hours of today Sunday 25th September 2022 after a brief illness.
Ven. Balogun was trained at both Bishop Crowther College of Theology, Okene, and Archbishop Vining College of Theology, Akure.
Ven Balogun retired from active service in the year 2017. Before his retirement, he worked in the following Churches:
- St Barnabas’ Anglican Church, Agbele, Kwara State, Nigeria.
- St John’s Anglican Church, Igbonla,
Kwara State, Nigeria.
- St Paul’s Anglican Church, Igbo-Owu,
Kwara State, Nigeria.
- St Peter’s Anglican Church, Igbaja, Kwara State, Nigeria.
- St John’s Anglican Church, Idofian, Kwara State, Nigeria.
- After his retirement from active service, he served on contract briefly at Our Saviour’s Anglican Church Ibba-Village, Oro, Kwara State, Nigeria.
✓Late Ven. Moses Balogun was a complete gentleman of God.
✓He was a genuine child of God.
✓Baba was a faithful man of God.
✓He was a disciplined man.
✓He lived a contented life.
May his soul rest in peace.
May the Lord comfort and care for the family he left behind.
He is survived by his wife and children.
