Conac FC Wins Friendly Match Against Shepcy FC, 5-1

The Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion Football Club (CONAC FC) defeated Shepsy FC 5-1 as part of activities of the 2024 Joshua Generation International Youth Conference (JGIYC)

The highly anticipated game had participants all seated in the Moshood Abiola National Stadium Abuja. The game saw Shepsy FC opening the scoring to the shock of the audience. However, the hosts took the initiative and took control of the game to run away with a 5-1 victory

Speaking on the outcome of the game the Primate of the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, and Most Revd. Dr. Henry Ndukuba praised the team for their win. He said it was a good game and they are proud to see how good the team members are. He added that they are believing God to make the team a talking point in the country and beyond.

Similarly, the coordinating Bishop of CONAC FC, Rt. Revd. Dr Olusola Akanbi who is also the bishop of Offa Diocese and a footballer himself said the dream is to showcase the team to the international community and see their dreams coming to reality, adding that the team played very well and it was a good test. He said the game was not the first game they’ve played, as they had played against Nasarawa United recently. He concluded by saying they are believing that they will play top friendly matches so that they can keep in shape and all is being done within to expose them outside Nigeria.

CONAC FC is one of the many follow up projects of the Joshua Generation International Youth Conference organized by the Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion, which is an annual youth conference for all young persons to train them and equip them for the advancement of God’s Kingdom and position them to take over the seven mountains of influence.
