Chelsea forced AS Roma to a 3-3 draw at the Stamford Bridge in Wednesday’s Champions League match.
The Blues took a deserved 2-0 lead inside the first 37 minutes through goals from David Luiz and Eden Hazard but Aleksandar Kolarov and Edin Dzeko scored in the 40th and 64th minute to level proceeding before Dzeko completed his brace to make it 3-2 for the visitors. Chelsea, however, restored parity through Hazard in the 75th minute.
In the other matches, Barcelona defeated Olympiacos 3-1 at Nou Camp while Benfica lost 0-1 at home to Manchester United. Basel travelled to Russia to beat CSKA Moscow 2-0 while PSG whipped Anderlecht 4-0 in Belgium, even as Juventus defeated Sporting CP 2-1 in Italy.
