An analysis of visas the United Kingdom issued to Nigerians in 2022 has revealed that more visas were granted to dependants than students. Though the figure of visas issued from June 2022 to April 2023 would be out on Thursday, the UK, however, enacted a law that banned migrating students of some countries, including Nigeria, from bringing their family members to the country. No fewer than 26 personnel of the Nigerian Air Force have landed in Turkey for training on the usage and maintenance of T129 ATAK helicopters. The Nigerian government last year procured six T129 helicopters produced by the Turkish Aerospace Industry for counter-terrorism operations in the country. The T129 ATAK is a twin-engine, tandem-seat, multi-role, all-weather attack helicopter. The Christian Association of Nigeria on Tuesday raised concerns over the continued killings in Mangu and Riyom Local Government Areas of Plateau State but advised against reprisal attacks.
