Clergymen from the Apostolic Christian Church Mission took to the street of Aba, the commercial hub of Abia State to protest the sealing of the church’s headquarters on 34 Omuma road Aba. Governor Okezie Ikpeazu had ordered the shutting of the church headquarters following a protracted leadership tussle rocking the church. Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has reacted to his defeat at the Osun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Osogbo. The tribunal on Friday, upturned Adeleke’s win at the July 16th 2022 governorship polls. The Speaker of the House of Representatives has threatened to order the arrest of Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele to appear before the committee investigating the old naira notes withdrawal. Gbajabiamila said this on Thursday after the Majority Leader of the House, Ado Doguwa informed him that Emefiele and others shunned the invitation to a meeting on Wednesday. Telecommunications services provider, Airtel Nigeria, has introduced eSIM (embedded SIM) – a digital SIM that enables customers to access the same functionality as someone using a physical SIM. With this, the telecom operator has joined MTN and 9mobile, who introduced the service earlier.
