The Rivers State Government has slammed the All Progressives Congress, APC, over its call on the State House of Assembly to immediately commence an impeachment process against the governor of the state, Siminalayi Fubara. Bayo Onanuga, the spokesperson to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has clarified that the recently introduced cybersecurity levy to all banks and financial services is 0.005 percent, not 0.5 percent. The Central Bank of Nigeria, in a notice on Monday, ordered all banks to collect and remit cybersecurity levy to the National Security Adviser. The Federal Government has decided to improve the domestic power supply by cutting the sales to cross-border in the Niger Republic, Niger Republic and Togo.
