Apostle Michael Orokpo, president and founder of Encounter Jesus Ministries, has criticized gospel singers who demand high fees for their services, stating that they are merely entertainers rather than true ministers of God.
During a recent ministration that has gone viral, Orokpo lamented the growing corruption within the Christian community. He accused many gospel artists and preachers of prioritizing financial gain over genuine service, emphasizing that their performances on the altar are often just a way to justify their fees.
“You would be shocked by the conversations they have with pastors who invite them,” he stated.
He warned that without true dedication, diligence, and spiritual fervor, many of them would eventually lose their relevance.
“This is why so many fade away after a few years. God diminishes their influence, and they may even be forgotten,” he added.
