Today, President Bola Tinubu will embark on a short working visit to Paris, France, as announced by presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga in Abuja.

During the visit, the President will assess his administration’s mid-term performance and evaluate key milestones. The retreat will also serve as an opportunity for strategic planning ahead of the administration’s second anniversary, focusing on strengthening ongoing reforms and accelerating national development priorities for the coming year.

The statement also noted recent economic achievements, highlighting the Central Bank of Nigeria’s report of a significant rise in net foreign exchange reserves to $23.11 billion—a clear indicator of the administration’s fiscal reforms since 2023 when net reserves were $3.99 billion.

While in Paris, President Tinubu will remain actively engaged with his team, overseeing governance activities remotely. He is expected to return to Nigeria in about two weeks.
